Terry was born in Dyersburg, Tennessee to a military family. Following in his father's Air Force footsteps, he joined the Navy after high school and gave 12 years of active duty service, gaining many awards along the way and obtaining the rank of Petty Officer First Class.
Despite moving around so much as a child, Terry and his wife, Amy, have spent the last 16 years in Spring, TX with their two children Katelyn, 16, and Michael, 9. He also has two children, Telena, a teacher, and Jeff, a Hyundai Sales Manager, from his previous marriage.
Terry is a 20 year veteran of the Automotive Industry. He started his career at Fred Broeg Chevrolet in St. Louis, MO. From there, he also gained experience in various management and partnering positions at Fred Haas Toyota World, Texan Hyundai, and Bill Heard Chevrolet, to name a few. Currently, Terry is the General Sales Manager at Wiesner Automotive Group and the Director of Conroe Auto Credit.
Terry's passion for people overflows into his management of Wiesner. His personal investments into each employee are evident in not only attitude and environment, but in the numbers with a 65% increase in year over year sales from 2010 to 2011.
The Lukers are active members of Community Christian Church. Terry is a vocalist on the praise team and he and Amy teach a couples Sunday School class on relationships. They recently completed a marriage seminar called "Restoration Marriage: One Couple's Journey."
Through Terry's passion for people comes a desire to reach out to those in need. Terry works with ONEGEN Away, an organization whose mission is to feed the homeless and less fortunate through food distributions with the Montgomery County Food Bank.
Terry's life stays plenty busy with the people, projects, and companies that he invests in, but no matter how how full his plate might become, he always has time to keep up with his Alabama Crimson Tide.
